Marie and Kyle are growing their family!

Hello friends,

As you may know, Kyle and Marie are not only growing their garden this year, they’re also growing their family. With a new baby due in early May, the growing season takes on a whole new meaning. We could not be happier for these hard working entrepreneurs!

A few of us asked if we could host a baby shower, but no surprise, being private people Marie and Kyle are busy with Bush Order, garden preparations and of course preparing for the baby, and there doesn’t seem to be a time to do this. As well, they’re less inclined to have ‘stuff’ and are taking a minimalist approach to accumulating too much.

So instead, we are proposing to set up a baby fund/registry. Marie and Kyle have NO EXPECTATIONS beyond your well wishes, but if you would like to demonstrate your support in a material sense, a cash donation would be appreciated. A baby fund would enable some services like an occasional housecleaner, a water tank fill-up (because gardens and laundry for babies both need lots of water, which is limited on trucked water), sending dogs Storm and Queso to Qimmiq occasionally to get that Qimmiq coma, etc.

Marie and Kyle appreciate the support of community, in every sense of the word. Good wishes at this turning point in their lives mean so much, and if you opt to provide a little support, well, that’s simply awesome.
